Aeramiah Binford Bio
At just 20 years old, Aeramiah Binford is already chasing a simple goal: become one of the greatest dunkers the sport has ever seen. Known as “Showtime,” the Arizona native combines elite athleticism, creativity, and confidence with the belief that his best dunks are still ahead of him.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Binford first dunked at age 14 while training at a local Boys & Girls Club. From that moment forward, he became obsessed with pushing the limits of what he could do above the rim. Standing 6 foot 6, he quickly developed into an explosive athlete capable of making difficult dunks look effortless.
Binford’s signature arsenal already includes advanced dunks such as the Eastbay Behind the Back and the Bounce Between the Legs Opposite Hand Windmill. Inspired by legendary dunker 1FootGod, he has built a style that blends smoothness with power. As he describes it, he floats through the air before finishing with authority.
Although he is still early in his competitive dunking journey, Binford believes one of his greatest strengths is his ability to make difficult dunks appear easy. He also pays close attention to details that are often overlooked, including takeoff distance and the advantage created by pushing off another person during a jump. For him, a great dunk combines creativity, multiple movements, and a powerful finish.
Family remains the driving force behind everything he does. Guided by the belief that “You will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory,” Binford approaches every opportunity with gratitude and perspective. He hopes the moments he is creating today will become memories that inspire him and others for years to come.
Now, Binford enters Dunkman with an opportunity he considers life changing. Being selected for the world’s first professional dunking league validates years of work and places him among the athletes he has looked up to throughout his journey. His immediate goal is to win the Dunkman World Championship, while his long-term dream is to play professional basketball and continue building his legacy in the sport.
When his career is over, Binford hopes fans remember more than his dunks. He wants people to look at what he accomplished and believe they can achieve their own goals as well. If his journey inspires even one person to chase their dreams, he will consider it a success.
